About the Author
I have always been passionate about the story. From a young age, I would daydream, probably like most people. I love a good story and I love the emotion a story can evoke. From camp side stories to putting pen to paper, stories have come alive for me. Great stories have great characters, my goal is to bring both to life. I hope they come alive for you.
Seed of growth
January 2009
I have had this epic fantasy story growing inside of me. Around 2009 I attempted to put it to paper. I outlined and outlined. My outline was 30,000 words and life got in the way. The story never left me and it grew and grew. In 2018, I had a thought. “You are going to die.” I started researching how to write a novel. I started finding articles from my favorite author, Brandon Sanderson. I found his creative writing class online. I tried some things out and experimented and in three months, I had 60,000 words written and my first draft completed. This book is the ending of the story I thought of in 2009. It is separate and stands on its own. The background and world building already done helped complete the draft. Now to polish it, enrich the characters and produce the story.
